Almost There!

This past week has been relatively productive..even though I took the entire week off from running...I still worked out everyday. I worked my legs hard, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. They are getting strong! I am trying to stay positive with the no running thing..it really is killing me to not be hitting that pavement, but I am actually seeing muscle growth, not only in my legs but my abs as well, I really do have obliques! ( :

I did go for a short 3 mile test run this morning. It felt good to run again, but there is still a darn twinge in my left leg...dang it! Some more rest, I guess.

I have no idea what your post was about since I was constantly distracted by the pic. Actually, I did read your post, so I will comment! Congrats on the weight loss and the working out. I too, at age 53, have decided to start stretching more and even doing yoga (You may laugh!). Bummer about the injury. Take it easy, like you are, and continue to stretch and strengthen. Good luck.
