I HAVE A SPONSOR!
For the past three years now, I have had it in my head that I wanted to run 40 marathons by the time I am 40 years old. Life got in the way, the economy went to crap, we had to cinch up our belts and stick to a budget, oh yeah, there was the fact that we lived on a tropical island for a year... I finally got it in my heart that this just wasn't going to happen, I just wasn't going to get to run my goal. A few months ago we moved back to the mainland and HOPE was on the horizon. Could I really do this with just the little bit of time that I had left?
So, here we are 14 months until I turn 40, Ugh!
But I have good news, I just found out that Little Caesars of Southern Utah will be helping me achieve my goal of 40 by 40! I am so grateful! I will be running 25 marathons over the next 14 months! I am so excited!
Never give up, never surrender!
My first marathon as a "sponsored" runner will be the Salt Lake City Marathon next weekend (April 17), and then averaging two a month until June of 2011.

I just want to say that no matter what obstacles get in our way or how many times people may laugh at our ideas, we have to just keep running past those that don't believe in us and run towards those that do!

I am so jealous. I would love to make this a goal for me. Of course I still have 7 years. I am so happy for you. I am curious as to what exactly they will pay for and how it works.... will you send me a private FB message? :) are you going to run Utah Valley marathon?

Thanks for joining my journey of running through life.
