Three Things Thusday

1. My next race is March 26th. The Sand Hollow Marathon. No traveling for this one...I get to sleep in my own bed! I just watched the video of the course...I am so excited!

There is still time to register! Come run with me!

2. I have a new page for Runner Girl's Blog Spot on Facebook. "Like" me here... Pleeease! (:

3. A while back I contacted Instaflex to try their joint relief product and I received a free sample in the mail. Along with the Joint Support, they also sent the Muscle Support and Bone Support. Score! I had been using glucosamine chondroitin and MSM prior, with not a lot of relief, so I was a little skeptical. Two weeks after starting Instaflex, I noticed that I had less pain in my knee. Woohoo! I'm not going to go into all the scientific mumbo jumbo, you can go here to read more about Instaflex. Looking at the ingredients Instaflex has the same as any other product, but it is in capsule form. I think maybe that is one of the reasons it works well. My sample ran out two weeks ago today and I started taking my old stuff, and have been having some issues again. The downside to Instaflex: It is a little VERY pricey. $70 for a 60 day supply.  You can find Instaflex at GNC, and with a Gold Card, it will save you $15. I would probably continue taking it if it was less expensive. I just purchased/started taking another capsulated product from Vitacost to see if the capsules work better than tablets.Time will tell.

Have a great Thursday!

If I were in marathon shape, I would totally join you. One of these days we'll meet!

Have a great race!

what a fun looking site! I love waking up in my own bed for races. That's how it has been lately w/ kids!

I love races that are close to home. There is nothing more relaxing!

what brand glucosamine were you taking? i take "move free advanced" and it has some other stuff (in particular, HA which is also in the injections that I get) and it seems to work better than regular glucosamine supplements. I'm interested in checking out instaflex based on your experience as well.

I thought I was the only person who made videos' of the race course. Good luck.

I just found your post after reading The Emerging Runners post.
