Pre Race Jitters??

I ran my last run before the marathon this morning.  I feel ready, just need good sleep tonight! I am not nervous about running the miles on Saturday, I pretty much know what to expect from my body. However, I am nervous about the drive to Logan and getting to the busses on time and then driving myself home.  I know, it seems silly. I guess I can chalk it up to the pre race jitters.

AHHHHHHH!

I totally know how you are feeling right now, and to be honest, I am super jealous. I wish it were me running on Sat. I tried to find a marathon around my area for January or Feb. I found on in Feb and it is in Columbus Ohio. It is called the Last Chance for Boston. I guess alot of people run it to qualify before boston. I got reading last night and it is a 1 mile loop... yep you heard me right, 1 mile loop. Holy crap that is going to suck, and the temp last year was in the 20's. What am I thinking? I just wanted to do one before I do a spring marathon, which I think I am going to run either, the Nashville Rock and Roll or the Lousiville Kentucky Derby Marathon in April, I think they are both the same day so I can't do both. ;)

Anyways, back to you-
So are you driving up Sat Morning? WHY? if you need a place to stay, i have a sister in Logan and she is truly one of the most spiritual, kind, loving women I know. She would have you in a sec. Infact she would love to talk running, she is training for her first half. Email if you want to find out more. janni329@yahoo.com and then I will call you and we can work it out. But yes the drive home will be tuff, I once drove home from St George to Orem after running a half, I felt great though, a half is different then a full.
Ph my goah I have written a Novel, so I am going to end now.
Email me-

The logistics of races always make me more nervous than actually hitting the pavement. Good luck. I expect a full report Monday!
