I had...

a fabulous 12 mile run this morning. I went by myself and it was MUCH needed alone time. As I was running I realized I haven't really been alone for nearly 2 weeks, I always have a little one in tow and it was nice to just hear the sound of my feet hit the pavement this morning. I ran on an old country road by where we live. Farm land. Who doesn't like the smell of wet hay, horses and wood burning in a fireplace? It felt great to be out in the fresh air...by myself!

I also ate well today. It is amazing how good you feel when you make wise food choices. Hey, thanks for all of your encouraging comments! It is nice to know I have people on the sidelines cheering me on. Have a great weekend everyone!

Sounds like a great run to me! I can't wait to get outdoors again. And yes, alone time is great. I know that is one of the things I love about running. Time for myself.

Good job on the run and taking some alone time for yourself.

you'll be in Carlsbad? How cool. I'm only running the Half. Hopefully the weather cools down a bit-it's been in the 80's here for over a week!!

So glad you enjoyed your run and that you got some alone time! And I totally know what you mean about feeling better when you eat well.

Thanks for following my blog! I love reading yours

As nice as it is to run with people, sometimes it's nice to be out there on your own. And as much as we love our little ones, it's good to get a break!

Love runs like that. Sadly I have alot of alone time, well only when I am running. It's just me, my ipod, the GPS and the road. I love it, most days. When the long runs get closer to 20 is when it gets hard to be running alone.

Good for you! Wish I coulda been running instead of whaling on a bunch of hyper scouts all morning. Oh well. Wanna come for 12 again on Saturday?

I am new to your blog and you have totally inspired me with your marathon plans! I ran my first marathon last weekend at the Rock and Roll in Phoenix. It went really well and now I have the bug. I will keep following you for motivation!!! How long 'til I should run again??
