I Love a Long Run

I ran 18 miles this morning! The picture is one of the roads I ran up and it was absolutely gorgeous! There were several killer hills, which I conquered (I am sore tonight). The miles just flew by, so much to look at. On the way back I could see the ocean in the distance. I am so grateful to be able to run in such a beautiful place!

This afternoon, instead of taking a nap, we packed up the kids and went to relax at the beach. My boy LOVES the water and he had a great time boogie boarding and trying to "catch the wave." My girly is content in the sand.

I am going to start the P90X program on Monday. It looks like a killer workout, I'm excited.

Hope you all have a great weekend.  Aloha!

Right after I saw your picture, I looked up employment oppotunities in Hawaii. Sadly teachers are not paid well. Oh well, I guess I will live vicariously through your stunning photos!!

Wow..those are gorgeous pictures! It is dark and gray and dreary and COLD where I am. I would love a run in shorts and a t-shirt right about now. :)

I am so jealous! I think my long runs would go so much better if I was running where you live.

I am incredibly jealous of that scenery! It looks absolutely wonderful. Good job trekking 18 miles, it takes a hardy soul to go the distance.

I look forward to seeing more of those gorgeous pictures! :)
