There are good runs....

and there are bad runs! I was supposed to run 13 miles yesterday and I just didn't have it in me. I felt sluggish and tired, and to top it off, my ipod died! UGH. Janice said it well, it was a "rock sucker!" But, I really can't complain since this was part of the lovely view along the way!

Anyone want to come run the Kauai Marathon with me on September 6th? Registration will be closing soon. I am getting really excited! Hope you all had a great weekend.

I think I'll have to sell a few million copies of my book to justify coming out to run with you. I'd love to though, it looks just fab. I'm just back from running the Stockholm marathon this weekend - disappointed with my time as I was not acclimatised to the unexpected heat, but it is a beautiful run, if rather hilly - half through city and half through parks, over bridges and along the waterfront. Take a day off and try again, you might feel better that way.

Oh that looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

And yes, there are THOSE sucktastic runs, unfortunately. I've had a string of them.

I would so love to run that! Why is the registration fee so expensive? 225$, I hope some/most goes to charity. Looks so beautiful!!

I'm running a half in Council Bluffs, IA on Sunday. That's almost like Hawaii, I'd say.

We recently bought a timeshare in Kauai. We'll have to plan a future week tehre around the marathon. Your blog has made me very excited about our next vacation there!

Great view! I am so jealous. As far as the "bad runs," we've all had them. You just have them with better scenery!!
