Happy Weekend

I ran 16.3 miles yesterday. It was one of those runs that every time you look at your watch, 2 more miles have passed. I love a good run in the desert! I enjoy running on a seemingly endless road... just me and the blacktop for miles. This is what I see on my runs...

The mountain in the distance is Pine Valley Mountain...the largest laccolith in the world.

I feel so lucky to live here at this time in our lives. Although I grew up in St. George, I never thought I would live here as an adult. But it has been really nice to be around family, and they aren't kidding when they call this place "Sunny St. George." ( : The weather has been warm. The other day it was 61 degrees for my early morning run. It has been fantastic.

Have a great weekend. Happy Easter. Keep running.

How gorgeous! I always drive through St. George on our way skiing and I always think, do people run around here? It always seems so warm and dry but it is truly beautiful. I like your prespectives!

I love St George. You are so lucky to live there. Well, lucky now... maybe it wil suck a bit in the dead heat of the summer. :)

So guess what? I am going to be in Utah in July. My sisters and I will be in St George the 15th-18th or something like that.. weekend. Let's hook up and run. I also think I will be doing the Deseret News marathon on the 24th while there. You running that one?
