I am having serious racing withdrawls...I have been feeling:
~Anxious
~Irritable..just ask my family
~I have poor concentration
~And I have been taking naps, I never do that.
My next race is in a few weeks and I am jonesin'. I keep looking on the
Marathon Guide, hoping there is something new on the list...but there never is. I need help! :)
I am planning on running 18 miles tomorrow, hopefully that will cure my obsession for another week. The Honeysuckle is blooming and it smells so good when I run in the mornings...love it! Have a great weekend!
Keep running.

Enjoy your 18 miler! We need to make a plan to meet after Utah Valley. I'm running the half, but I could stick around or we can meet up that afternoon. Let me know...
Always a good sign that you will do well in your next race! Enjoy the 18. I love long runs!
Hope the 18 miler suffices!
Honeysuckle is one of my faves. Love it!
I guess it's pretty easy to get hooked on running frequent marathons. Hope the 18 miles helps scratch the itch.
Love your blog, Stacey. I know you are looking for advice, but I am such a newbie--I was hoping to learn off of your experience:)
Looking forward to following your running adventures.
LOL! I've been filling my race calendar up to keep busy.
Have a nice 18 miler.
I always need another race looming in the future...I can understand your pain! Have a nice 18 mile run this weekend!
Interestingly enough I've found that not all marathons are listed on marathonguide.com. Search for marathons and a certain date and occasionally (very occasionally) you'll find a new one. I did.
you are so funny. I feel that way to. Your body most likely is loving this recovery time. Enjoy it.
you love your races!! hope the 18 miler helped calm you down a bit!
I'm a bit slow in seeing this post as was away for a run this weekend. How did the 18 miler go? did it "scratch the itch" or at least make the cravings a bit less severe?? lol
Nothing like the post race blues. I always try to have a race schedule before I finish the current one. It helps keep me motivated.
Hope you had a great 18!
Yes girl, get thee on the road! :o)
Wow, 18 miles!! Hope it does the job...I'm impressed :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your blog header is super cute!
Good luck during your taper! You are not alone in the irritability and anxiety in that department! :)
Thanks for finding me! I love your blog; what an impressive race schedule.
I am working to become a Maniac by running 3 marathons in 90 days; Eugene (#17) May 2, Newport (#18) June 5 and Missoula (#19) July 11.
After that on the marathon schedule is St. George, October 2nd :-)
First thing I did when we started talking about moving to Houston was look at the local race calendar=)
I run past a big patch of honeysuckle on my morning runs and it is wonderful.
Enjoy your 18 miles! I'm in awe! my mileage is so low these days. I really need to bring it up again. Have a great run!
We are lucky enough to be able to run. I always fall back on that.

Wild Honeysuckle does smell fantastic! It was in full bloom 2 weeks ago here and I even posted about it on my blog. Small world................Keep up the running and try not to get too anxious between races. 18 sounds like a cure for that- how'd it go?
